Amper has confirmed to the CNMV that it is negotiating the acquisition of Advanced Radar Technologies (ART), although it has not signed any binding agreement. The operation is valued at 40 million euros, plus 5 million linked to targets.

According to pressdigital.es, Amper has informed the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) that it is in negotiations to acquire the radar sensor company Advanced Radar Technologies (ART), without having subscribed to any binding agreement so far.

ART is a Spanish company founded in 2010 as a spin-off from the Microwave and Radar Group of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is dedicated to the design, development, and marketing of radar systems, software, and sensors for the Security, Defence, and Space sectors.

Among its products are systems for detecting, tracking, classifying, and mitigating unmanned aerial threats, namely drones. It also develops solutions for coastal and border surveillance, protection of critical infrastructure, military missions, monitoring of avifauna, and aircraft approach radars.

The operation is valued at 40 million euros, to which 5 million linked to targets would be added. The sale is being negotiated with the Hyperion fund, led by Pablo Casado and Ricardo Gómez-Acebo Botín.

If the purchase is finalised, it would be the fourth that Amper has made in about eight months. In May, it acquired the assets and technological capabilities of Zeleros for nearly one million euros. In June, it purchased 100% of Teltronic from the Nazca Capital fund for 225 million euros, and in July it acquired the production unit of the German company Freqcon for 1.7 million euros.

As part of its Strategic Plan 2026-2028, updated in April, Amper expects to generate over 800 million euros in revenue by 2028, compared to 254 million in 2025. It also anticipates a gross operating result (Ebitda) exceeding 130 million euros, compared to 46 million the previous year.
