The market research company confirms an orderly transition at its top: Frédéric Charles Petit will leave the executive leadership once his successor is appointed and will continue as a councillor, advisor, and significant shareholder.

The board of Toluna has initiated the process to replace its founder and CEO, Frédéric Charles Petit, who will step down from the executive role once his successor is designated. The company, specialised in market research and technology for consumer insight, has confirmed that the succession has been planned for some time, as reported by bolsamania.com.

Petit founded the company 25 years ago and has led it since then. After the transition, he will maintain his position on the board of directors, retain a significant stake in the capital, and serve as a strategic advisor in areas the company considers key for its next phase of growth.

The board, in coordination with the founder himself, has already activated a transition plan that includes a defined handover of responsibilities to avoid disruptions in operations. The company expects to announce the name of the next CEO shortly.

“Founding and collaborating in the development of Toluna over the last 25 years has been the privilege of my professional life,” Petit stated. “After a quarter of a century at the helm, this is the right moment for a transition to new leadership.”

The chairman of Toluna, Bruce Haymes, has thanked the founder for his leadership of the company and supported the decision to initiate a planned succession. Haymes noted that the company will continue to benefit from Petit’s advice as a board member, permanent advisor, and shareholder.

During the transition period, Toluna's strategy, client commitments, and daily operations will remain unchanged. The company serves clients in over 75 markets and has a consumer panel of 80 million people, complemented by a synthetic panel.

The appointment of the new chief executive will be confirmed in the coming weeks, as the board finalises the selection process already underway.
