The Spanish selective index starts the session with a marginal advance of 0.04% to 19,237 points, driven by Repsol (+2.53%) and Fluidra (+2.51%). The Spanish CPI climbs to 4.9% annually in September, while the market awaits the industrial production data from the eurozone.

The Ibex 35 began the day at 19,247 points and is hovering around 19,237, with an advance of 0.04%. The index found an intraday low at 19,238 and marked its high at the same level, according to fxstreet.es.

The macroeconomic data influencing the session is the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Spain, which has stood at 4.9% annually in September, in line with market expectations and above the 4.3% of August, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE).

On the corporate front, Repsol (REP) is up 2.53% and reaches highs since September 29 at 30.43 euros, marking two consecutive sessions of gains. Meanwhile, Fluidra (FDR) rises 2.51% to 17.61 euros, its highest since October 6, breaking a two-day negative streak.

Across the Atlantic, the US CPI rose to 3.7% annually in September, above the expected 3.6% and the 3.4% of August. This data influences the Federal Reserve's interest rate expectations and adds volatility to the markets.

For tomorrow, the economic agenda includes the industrial production of the eurozone for August, which may set the tone for the session.

From a technical standpoint, the Ibex 35 maintains a short-term support at 17,916 points, the low from June 10, and the next key level at 17,239, the low from May 4. On the upside, the nearest resistance is at 20,310 points, the all-time high reached on August 13.
