Caja Rural de Zamora opens the application period for the Outstanding Freelancers Award, aimed at self-employed workers with more than two years of activity in the province and an annual turnover exceeding 50,000 euros.

Self-employed individuals in the province of Zamora with over two years of activity and an annual turnover exceeding 50,000 euros can now submit their application for the Outstanding Freelancers Award organised by Caja Rural de Zamora, as reported by eldiadezamora.es. The application period ends on November 15, 2026, and the process is conducted through the website cajaruraldigital.com.

The entity requires that applicants have their social and tax domicile in Spain and have been continuously operating in the province for more than two years. The award aims to recognise those who generate employment, maintain services, and contribute to the economic development of their surroundings.

The jury will evaluate applications in three dimensions. The first is Effort, which measures the professional's trajectory, their ability to overcome challenges, perseverance, and adaptability to changes. The second is Impact, focused on the positive influence on the environment: job creation, community ties, sustainability, conservation or reinvention of trades, and the ability to inspire others. The third is Future, where the potential for growth, innovation, and business projection is assessed.

The local winner will be announced before April 2, 2027 and will receive an iPhone 17. Additionally, they will represent Caja Rural de Zamora in the national final, competing with the winners from the other eleven participating rural banks for a prize of €9,000 to boost their business.

This initiative is part of the Outstanding Freelancers Plan and involves Caja Rural Central, Caja Rural de Navarra, Caja Rural de Salamanca, Caja Rural Granada, Caja Rural de Asturias, Caja Rural de Teruel, Caja Rural de Zamora, Caixa Popular, Caja Rural del Sur, Globalcaja, Caja Rural de Aragón, and Caja Rural de Jaén.

Interested parties must complete the form available on the entity's digital platform before the deadline. The decision of the local jury will be communicated in the spring of 2027.
