Nine Andalusian startups are among the 101 selected in the third edition of the Top101 Spain Up Nation. Andalucía shares second place with the Valencian Community.

The National Technical Committee of the Top101 Spain Up Nation has selected 101 startups from a total of 367 applications submitted across Spain, including nine from Andalusia, as reported by Europa Press. The recognition, promoted by ENISA and the Regional Development Agencies, is supported by Andalucía Emprende.

By province, Granada contributes two companies: Heuristik, specialised in data analysis and artificial intelligence, and HidroniFiltrador, focused on filtration and water treatment technologies. Málaga has another two: Eldes, in software development, and S.Lab, in circular economy solutions.

Sevilla has M2R Agrofarm, focused on innovation for the agri-food sector, and Pretium Renovables, in renewable energies. Completing the list are VivoXpand from Cádiz, Pharmigex, a health biotechnology company from Córdoba, and Kyvrox from Huelva.

Andalucía ties for second place in the national ranking with the Valencian Community, with nine companies each. Only the Community of Madrid surpasses them, with ten.

Five of the Andalusian companies, HidroniFiltrador, Kyvrox, M2R Agrofarm, Pharmigex, and S.Lab, had already been recognised as Top50 in the Emprendemos Awards by the Junta de Andalucía in June.

The awards will be presented on 18 November during the national gala at the Palacio de Congresos de La Rioja, Riojafórum, in Logroño.
