SEPE and Fundae open a new application period for enrolling in seven free online courses from IBM on artificial intelligence, data analysis, cybersecurity, and software development. Unemployed individuals have priority, and five of the courses maintain scholarships valid until March 2027.
The SEPE has announced the opening of a new period to apply for free online training scholarships offered by IBM in collaboration with Fundae. The offer includes seven pathways in artificial intelligence, data analysis, cybersecurity, and software development, as reported by empleojob.es.
The courses are aimed at individuals over 18 years old residing in Spain, whether they are employed or actively seeking work. In the selection process, unemployed individuals have priority for accessing the spots.
The training is 100% online and certified by IBM. The content is delivered in Spanish, although some videos are in English with available transcripts. Certain pathways allow starting without prior experience or programming knowledge, and some include tutoring while others are conducted autonomously.

Among the available options, there are courses of varying duration and level. Data Analytics has an estimated duration of between 58 and 65 hours and focuses on data processing for decision-making, without tutoring. Generative AI Engineering is a six-month program that does not require prior experience.
The Cybersecurity course teaches how to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and protect networks, systems, and applications, also without tutoring. Data Science lasts about five months and is designed to start advanced data analysis without prior computer science or programming knowledge.
The offer is completed with Generative Artificial Intelligence: Introduction and Applications, which explains the fundamentals and evolution of this technology; Introduction to Agile and Scrum Software Development, about project organization methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and Agile; and Generative AI: Basic Concepts of Instruction Engineering, focused on learning to give effective instructions to artificial intelligence tools.
Regarding deadlines, five of the seven courses maintain their scholarships valid until March 17, 2027: Generative AI Engineering, Data Science, Generative Artificial Intelligence: Introduction and Applications, Introduction to Agile and Scrum Software Development, and Generative AI: Basic Concepts of Instruction Engineering.
