Telpark adds six car parks in Madrid, Marbella and Tolosa through purchases and concessions that total around 1,580 spaces. The operation strengthens its presence in the national territory.
According to rrhhdigital.com, Telpark expands its network with six new car parks distributed across Madrid, Marbella (Málaga) and Tolosa (Gipuzkoa). The company finalises the acquisition of Arramele Siglo XXI, the owner of the concessions for Alondegia and Lapurdi, purchases the Centro Marbella car park outright and secures Plaza del Rey and Fúcar in Madrid, in addition to incorporating the Orense car park in the capital.
In Madrid, Telpark will manage 18 car parks following these additions. Orense, located in the AZCA district, has around 550 spaces across four levels, designated for rotation, subscribers and residents. Plaza del Rey and Fúcar are part of the same 25-year concession contract.
Plaza del Rey has 170 rotation spaces and will undergo a comprehensive renovation lasting approximately one year, which will include the installation of 16 charging points for electric vehicles of up to 22 kW. The car park on Fúcar street, located in a newly constructed multifunctional municipal centre, will have 200 spaces for residents and 21 charging points already installed. The planned works there will last about two months.
In Marbella, Telpark acquires the Centro Marbella car park outright, located in one of the busiest areas of the city. It has been managed since 2019 and has 317 rotation spaces and three 22 kW charging points.
In Tolosa, the company enters the Gipuzkoan municipality with Alondegia, on San Joan Kalea, which has 242 spaces and a current concession lasting 33 years, and Lapurdi, on Rondilla Kalea, with 104 spaces and a concession of two years and six months. Planned actions include renewing control equipment, centralising management, updating signage and improving lighting. Additionally, seven 22 kW chargers will be installed at Alondegia.
