The president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has promised an income tax cut in 2027 during a rally in Valencia. He also proposed that the tax threshold automatically increases with the Minimum Wage.
According to Navarra Información, the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced a cut in income tax in 2027 at the closing of a rally held in Valencia before 1,500 people. According to his words, the aim is to ensure that inflation and taxes do not reduce the salaries of Spaniards.
Feijóo stated that those earning the Minimum Wage will not pay income tax, and that the tax threshold will automatically increase whenever that wage is raised. He criticized the Government for, in his view, charging twice for inflation, both when shopping and when filing tax returns.
«In 2027, there will be a cut in income tax so that inflation and taxes do not eat away at the salaries of Spaniards»
On housing, the popular leader proposed building a million homes and reducing taxes for young people to enable them to buy them. Additionally, he announced that the first Council of Ministers of his future Government will approve a comprehensive audit of spending from Sánchez's years in office.
