The City Council of Ávila has awarded the renovation works of four fountains for 591,000 euros, with an execution period of between four and five months.
The Local Government Board of the City Council of Ávila awarded this Thursday the contract for the renovation works of four fountains in the city, as reported by diariodeavila.es. The works are financed by the Local Cooperation Fund of the Junta de Castilla y León 2026.
The entity Imesapi will be responsible for the works at the Fountain of the Seven Pipes, with a budget of 298,715.35 euros including VAT, and at the Donors' Fountain, for 142,236 euros including VAT.
Meanwhile, Ingeniería Románica S.L. has been awarded the interventions at the Angelitos Fountain, in the San Antonio garden, and at the fountain located in front of the Tropicana bar, with budgets of 88,088 euros and 62,678 euros including VAT, respectively. The execution period for these works ranges from four to five months.
Additionally, the contracting file for the renovation works of the ornamental fountain of San Antonio in front of the pavilion and the fountain of Las Hervencias has been initiated, both financed by the same fund.
In the case of the Las Hervencias fountain, it presents deficiencies and obsolescence of the hydraulic and electrical installations, as well as advanced deterioration of the building's envelope. The base bidding budget is 47,955.62 euros including VAT, with an estimated execution period of four months.
For the ornamental fountain located in front of the San Antonio pavilion, a polygonal collector and pumping station will be installed, along with pumps and projectors, in addition to cleaning and waterproofing works. The base bidding budget amounts to 27,779.71 euros including VAT, with an estimated execution period of four months.
The total amount for the works on these six fountains amounts to 667,452.68 euros including VAT.
