Pavilions 2, 4 and 6 of IFEMA Madrid will host the largest packaging, logistics and immologistics fair in Spain on November 11 and 12, featuring over 450 exhibiting companies across 31,500 square meters.

The next edition of Empack, Logistics & Automation and Logistic & Industrial Build (LIB) will take place on November 11 and 12 in pavilions 2, 4 and 6 of IFEMA Madrid. The event will bring together more than 450 exhibiting companies in a space of 31,500 square meters, as reported by ecosistemastartup.com. The organisation, managed by Easyfairs, has confirmed the addition of 102 new exhibitors and a programme featuring over 250 experts.

The event has grown compared to the 2025 edition, which concluded with 426 exhibitors, 24,000 square meters and 12,200 professional visitors. In one year, the exhibition space has increased by 31%.

The event is structured around three main themes. The first is Empack Reuse, a space dedicated to reusable packaging that complies with the new European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), effective from August 12, 2026. Companies participating in this area include Recyclia, Cartonplast, Engelvin, Prime Biopolymers, osapiens, Corplex, Envalora, Fych Technologies and Ondaplast.

The second theme is AI & Logistics Tech, a 700 square meter area featuring 36 companies specialising in artificial intelligence and logistics software, including Mecalux, KNAPP, ABB, Clustag RFID Solutions, B2Wise, Mujin Europe, PTV, Tesisquare, ImperIA, Generix Group/DeliverEA, Hardis Supply Chain, Unigis and KaiRA. The third is the PPWR Academy, a congress forum where experts will discuss the practical implications of the regulation for Spanish and Portuguese companies.

In the automation and robotics area, companies such as Linde Material Handling, SEW-EURODRIVE, Transporeon, VisionNav Robotics, Itoh Denki Europe, Odoo, Banner Engineering, NovaX Robotics and MABO Automation will be present. The Portuguese cluster Produtech-Cluster for Manufacturing Technologies will group several Portuguese companies in a joint stand.

Logistic & Industrial Build adds 11 new companies, including FINSA, 3DModular, EGEIN, Customs Transport Centre of Burgos, Inespro, Metalcomercial, Pulsar Krean and Eurostick. The Community of Madrid will participate for the second consecutive year. Additionally, the Best ESG Exhibitor Initiative Awards will be presented on November 12.

The PPWR (EU Regulation 2025/40) mandates that 40% of transport packaging must be reusable by 2030, increasing to 70% by 2040. It also imposes stricter restrictions on PFAS in food contact packaging from August 2026, requiring mandatory technical documentation with traceability by SKU and country registration for companies placing packaging on the market.

The fair will take place at IFEMA Madrid on November 11 and 12. Interested professionals can consult the full programme and register through the official event website.
