The FACTOR-IA 2026 programme concluded its third edition with ten companies from Ciudad Real presenting artificial intelligence projects at its Demo Day. The programme recorded 104 registrations.

Ten companies from Ciudad Real presented their artificial intelligence projects at the Demo Day of FACTOR-IA 2026, as reported by Ecosistema Startup. The programme concluded with 104 registrations and over 450 people in its training itinerary.

The event took place at the Cámara de Comercio de Ciudad Real and marks the end of the third edition. The programme is funded by the Diputación Provincial de Ciudad Real and the European Union, organised by CEEI Ciudad Real and IMPEFE, with collaboration from i4CAMhub.

Each company worked on its own challenge, with eight hours of personalised advice to define a viable use case. Prior to this, they received 16 hours of online training. The sessions in September and October included AI tools, templates for routine tasks, process automation, and the development of management applications without programming knowledge.

The companies presented are Nortia Agricultural, Quesos Despaña, Coalval, Nico Jamones, Affiliabet, Maxmetal, Golden Wash, Marzasa, Turicleta, and Condado Berrocal. The sectors range from agriculture and livestock to agri-food industry, manufacturing, tourism, mobility, and digital marketing.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and of CEEI Ciudad Real, José Luis Ruiz, stated:

we are not talking about artificial intelligence in the abstract, but about companies in our province that have started from their own needs

According to the Emprende 2026 Report by Holded, based on 1,530 interviews, 31% of Spanish SMEs already use AI and estimate an average saving of 13.3 hours per week on administrative tasks. The companies that use it cite the main barriers as economic costs (37%), lack of knowledge (28.6%), and technical difficulty (27.3%).
