A simulator shared online compares the taxation of 2026 with the economic programme of Vox. A worker earning 30,000 euros gross and on a permanent contract would save 359.88 euros per month, according to the tool.

A simulator circulating on social media, named Vox Salary Simulator, allows users to estimate how much the net salary of workers would increase if the tax reform proposed by Santiago Abascal's party were applied. The tool, which according to larazon.es is presented as independent and with indicative results, compares the current tax regulations in 2026 with the economic measures of the party.

To use it, you simply need to enter the annual salary, the number of pays, the type of contract, and the family situation. In the case of a person without children, on a permanent contract and earning 30,000 euros gross per year, the simulator calculates a current net salary of 1,927 euros per month. With Vox's measures, that amount would rise to 2,286.88 euros per month, representing a saving of 359.88 euros per month and 4,319 euros per year.

The difference is explained by the income tax. That worker would go from paying 4,926 euros annually to 607.50 euros, while social security contributions would remain at 1,950 euros per year in both scenarios.

The tax proposal from Vox included in the tool states that the first 22,000 euros annually would be exempt from income tax. Above that amount, a rate of 15% up to 70,000 euros would apply, and income exceeding that limit would be taxed at 25%. The programme also includes a reduction of four percentage points in income tax for each dependent.

The simulator also allows users to estimate the effect of other measures, such as reducing the general VAT from 21% to 18% and the reduced rate from 10% to 8%. For its calculations, it combines Vox's economic programme from 2025 with previous proposals from the party.

Vox estimates that the income tax reform would have an approximate cost of 40 billion euros, which it plans to offset with a reduction in public spending.

The calculator does not take into account the possible effects of those spending cuts, so the savings it shows is an estimate and not a guaranteed amount, as the page itself warns.
