Digi Spain Telecom registered more than 175,700 portabilities in September, a 12% increase compared to 2025. This is the operator's second best monthly figure in Spain, with 149,900 in mobile and 25,800 in fixed.

The Spanish subsidiary of the Romanian group Digi Communications closed September with over 175,700 portabilities, representing an increase of over 12% compared to the same month in 2025 and the second best monthly record in its history in Spain, according to pressdigital.es.

Of the total, 149,900 operations corresponded to the mobile business, the second highest mark for the company in this category, while the remaining 25,800 were carried out on the fixed network.

In the quarter from July to September, the operator surpassed 444,700 customer transfers, a 6% increase compared to April to June and 13% above the same period in 2025.

So far this year, Digi has accumulated over 1,355,000 operations for company changes, a 14% increase compared to the first nine months of 2025. The company has thus maintained 25 consecutive months leading the sector in Spain and keeps a pace of over 100,000 net line additions per month since September 2024.

On the economic front, the company invested 205 million euros in the first half of 2026, a 36% year-on-year increase, aimed at deploying ultra-fast fibre optic networks and developing its own mobile infrastructure.

In terms of employment, Digi ranks as the second operator by workforce size in the sector, with a staff of over 11,900 employees in Spain, all directly hired.
