The Galician company specialising in personnel management surpassed the projected 90 million in revenue for 2026 after growing by 34.66% in Spain until July. Its goal is to reach 100 million in 2027.
The Galician personnel management company Externa has accelerated its growth in the first seven months of 2026 and is confident of exceeding 90 million euros in revenue by the end of the financial year, according to mundiario.com. The company, founded in 2006 and headquartered in A Coruña, aims to reach 100 million by 2027, the final phase of its Strategic Plan 2023-2027.
The data presented by the company to its executive and sales managers, gathered in Madrid, reflects a revenue increase of 34.66% in Spain between January and July compared to the same period in 2025, and 37.8% in Portugal. In both markets, Externa exceeded its internal targets: 105% in Spain and 109.7% in Portugal.
This evolution is supported by a longer trajectory. The company claims that between 2008 and 2025 it maintained an average growth of 31.48%, with the exception of 2020, when the pandemic halted its upward trajectory. The challenge, as the size of the company grows, is to maintain high rates of expansion without compromising margins, service quality, or management capacity.
"We want to advance by attracting new talents and competent professionals, but also through the organic growth of the company, improving the services we already offer to our clients and potential clients, and exploring new business avenues," explained Pastor López Docampo, CEO of Externa, during the meeting.
The strategy to reach the 100 million mark combines several avenues: organic growth with new branches in strategic areas, improvement of services to current and potential clients, and exploration of new businesses and possible corporate operations. The company also plans to deepen its use of digital tools and artificial intelligence applications in its processes.
Externa identifies the agri-food sector as a promising area: it already represents 7.8% of its revenue in Spain. The company has 20 branches in Spain and complements its Iberian presence with offices in Porto and Lisbon through its subsidiary WinWorking by Externa, from which it also operates in other international markets.
In 2025, the company closed with revenues of nearly 73 million euros, exceeding its forecasts. Of that figure, 63.7 million came from business in Spain and 8.9 million from Portugal. The company's convention, held at the Meliá Castilla hotel in Madrid under the direction of López Docampo and general director Fernando Berdugo, served to define the lines with which Externa faces the final stretch towards the 100 million barrier.
