Gufresco surpasses 15,000 m² of facilities after acquiring a warehouse from Pescaplana in the Carabona industrial estate in Burriana. The new warehouse has cold storage with a capacity for around 1,000 pallets.
The food company Gufresco, which is part of the GFUnion group, has purchased a warehouse from Pescaplana in the Carabona industrial estate in Burriana, as reported by FreshPlaza. This location is where the group concentrates a significant part of its activity.
The operation includes a plot of 2,500 m² and a warehouse of 1,500 m² equipped with refrigeration and freezing chambers, with a capacity for around 1,000 pallets. With this, the company increases its facilities from around 14,000 m² to over 15,000 m², gaining space and operational capacity in its current facilities.
Gufresco is dedicated to food and works with cut fruit and vegetables, juices, salads, sandwiches, and other IV and V range solutions. The expansion aims to strengthen the resources necessary for its various lines of activity and contributes to the group's development.
"Continuing to expand our facilities is also a way to prepare for what is to come. We have grown a lot in recent years, and having more space and new capabilities allows us to face the next steps of the group with ambition and with a structure in line with our evolution," says Alberto Ramírez, CEO of GFUnion.
The group's headquarters is located at Avenida de Nules 92 in Burriana, Castellón.
