The event replaces the format that was held in Formentera for fourteen editions under the name Formentera20.
The day will include talks and debates on Thursday, followed by a networking party at the Teatro Pereyra. On Friday, October 23, there will be more activities and a walk through Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Tickets are available at ibiza20.com with a 50% discount for subscribers of Diario de Ibiza and residents of the Balearic Islands.
The director of the event is journalist Rosa Castells, who describes it as:
“the natural evolution of Formentera20”
The programme includes a segment on artificial intelligence, starting with an analysis from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. According to this study, the use of AI in strategic sectors of the EU increased from 7% in 2021 to 18% in 2025. The fields of culture, creativity, and media lead the adoption, with 38% of companies being users.
Anaïs Pérez Figueras, communication director of Google for Spain and Portugal, will open this segment with the session ‘Augmented Intelligence’. Meanwhile, Soraya C. Hidalgo, general manager of Canva in Spain, will discuss how AI transforms creative processes.
Natalia Flores and Borja Prieto, founders and CEOs of Está Pasando, will present the talk ‘The Power of Fan Culture’. The agency was behind the launch campaign for the album ‘Lux’ by Rosalía, which was rolled out on the Gran Vía de Madrid. Regarding the strategy, they assert:
“Brands must stop being afraid of risk”
In the trust segment, Isis Boet, director of Influence and Digital at LLYC, will address the impact of algorithms and social media on the reputation of companies and brands. Óscar Ordoñez, director of Marketing & Experiences at CaixaBank, will discuss experiential marketing.
