John Ternus faces his first financial presentation as CEO of Apple. The guidance for the Christmas quarter and the commercial future of the iPhone Duo are the points that attract the most attention.

The first earnings report of Apple under John Ternus is drawing market attention. According to soydemac.com, the executive took over after Tim Cook's departure and, since September, has moved from speculation to public appearances.

In this financial meeting, Kevan Parekh, as Chief Financial Officer, shares the spotlight with Ternus. Analysts' questions mainly focus on the upcoming quarter, to understand what leeway the new CEO has regarding pricing and launch pace.

The calendar is packed with new products, including the iPhone 18 Pro and a MacBook Pro with a touchscreen. Not all will translate into revenue within the quarter: the iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable, has been announced, but its commercial impact will come later.

Ternus has argued that hardware and user experience remain ahead of any artificial intelligence label. According to his view, users should not question whether a feature relies on AI or traditional software, but rather if it is useful.

Regarding AI, the executive has dismissed the notion that agents will suddenly undermine traditional applications. Apple, according to the new CEO's narrative, is progressing without promising an immediate revolution.

For investors, the most anticipated data is the December guidance. The market wants to know if the Duo adds a new category or cannibalises the iPhone 18 Pro, and how it fits into the Christmas campaign, a period that in Spain captures a significant portion of the year's commercial interest. The rising costs of memory and other components are another factor to watch in the margins.

The pricing policy of the Duo will determine whether the foldable remains a coveted item or achieves commercial success.
