Naturgy closed the first nine months of 2026 with a net profit of €1.758 billion, a 5% increase. With these results, the company raises its forecasts for the year.

According to Noticias Bancarias, Naturgy achieved a net profit of €1.758 billion between January and September 2026, a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. The EBITDA reached €4.380 billion, a 4% increase, prompting the company to strengthen its guidance for the year.

The company expects to close 2026 with an EBITDA exceeding €5.600 billion, a net profit above €2.200 billion, and net debt below €13.000 billion.

The executive chairman, Francisco Reynés, attributed the results to the work of the group's professionals in a context marked by geopolitical tensions and volatility in energy markets.

“This joint effort has allowed us to further strengthen our guidance for this year”

Naturgy indicated that it maintains hedging instruments to limit exposure to energy prices, in a period affected by the conflict in the Middle East and its effects on oil and gas supply.

At the end of September, net debt stood at €12.307 billion, with a net debt to EBITDA ratio of 2.2 times. The company maintains a credit rating of BBB and has a financial capacity of up to €12.000 billion for acquisitions or other corporate operations, which, it specified, must meet value creation criteria.

In investments, the group allocated €1.281 billion in the nine months, mainly to distribution networks and renewable generation. Its operational renewable capacity reached 8.6 GW, and it plans to add 504 MW in the fourth quarter to approach 10 GW by the end of the year.

The company will pay a second interim dividend of €0.60 per share on November 5, raising the total remuneration for the year to €1.80 per share. Additionally, it will present a new strategic plan with a horizon of 2030 during 2027.
