Repsol's service station on Ángel Bruna street, at the Mandarache roundabout (Cartagena), will sell a limited cassette edition of Arde Bogotá's third album this Friday at 7:00 AM.
Repsol and the Cartagena band Arde Bogotá are reviving the cassette format with a limited edition of 'Manufacturas del Club de la Gente Sola', the group's third studio album. The tape will be available for sale this Friday starting at 7:00 AM at the Repsol service station on Ángel Bruna street, at the Mandarache roundabout in Cartagena, according to cartagenadiario.es.
This is the first time Arde Bogotá has released an album in this format. The edition has been conceived as a collector's item for the band's followers and for fans of physical music.
The launch is part of 'Música de Gasolinera', an initiative by Repsol that revives the connection between service stations, road trips, and music. For decades, the displays in these establishments coexisted with major hits and artists who were not yet on the radio, and those tapes accompanied journeys, holidays, and shared moments.
The choice of Arde Bogotá for this first release in Cartagena is supported by a prior relationship: the Repsol Industrial Complex in Cartagena has accompanied the band during concerts they performed at the La Mar de Músicas festival and last year at Cartagena Suena.
With this limited edition, the Ángel Bruna service station once again becomes a meeting point for music and brings the experience of listening to a tape closer to a new generation.
The sale starts this Friday at 7:00 AM at the Repsol service station on Ángel Bruna street, at the Mandarache roundabout in Cartagena.
