Prensa Ibérica and El Periódico de España will celebrate the Fiesta de la España Plural 2026 on Saturday, October 12 in Madrid, a gathering that will bring together over a hundred guests and personalities from various fields, according to elperiodicoextremadura.com. Attendees will include the presidents of the Congress of Deputies and the Senate, Francina Armengol and Pedro Rollán; the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration and Government spokesperson, Elma Sáiz; and the regional presidents Adrián Barbón (Principality of Asturias) and Marga Prohens (Balearic Islands).
The Mayor of Palma de Mallorca, Jaime Martínez; the magistrate of the Constitutional Court Laura Díez; the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Spain, Yao Jing; the director of the European Commission Representation in Spain, Daniel Calleja; and the Chief of Staff of the Army, Amador Fernando Enseñat, are also confirmed to attend.
Representing the business sector will be Raquel Sánchez, president of Paradores, and Pedro Saura, president of Correos. From the trade union side, Unai Sordo, general secretary of Comisiones Obreras, will be present. From the communication sector, Asís Martín de Cabiedes, president of Europa Press, and Blas Herrero, president of Grupo Kiss Media, will attend.
