IBEX 35 opens with a rise of 1.2% and leads the European stock markets. The market reverses part of previous declines after digesting the early election announcement, and the yield on the Spanish 10-year bond falls by 1.7%.

The IBEX 35 has started this Wednesday's session with an increase of 1.2%, placing it at the forefront of gains in Europe. The Spanish index thus recovers a good part of the declines from previous days, after the market has begun to digest the early election on 29 November, according to information published by xtb.com.

In the debt market, the yield on the Spanish 10-year bond falls by 1.7%, in line with the behaviour of debt from other major European economies.

The financial sector is driving the start of the day. Shares of Banco Sabadell rise by more than 2.5% after the acquisition of 7% of the entity by the French BPCE was confirmed. CaixaBank and BBVA also register a good start, with advances exceeding 1.7%.

Outside the banking sector, Laboratorios Rovi and Solaria record increases of over 2% and 3%, respectively, with the latter leading the morning gains.

At the bottom of the index, Fluidra and Ferrovial register the most significant declines. Repsol opens almost flat, while Aena and Naturgy show very slight cuts.
