The Government of Aragón forecasts accounts of €9.547 billion, a 12% increase compared to 2024. They include tax cuts and the principle of "national priority" demanded by Vox.
The budget for Aragón for the upcoming fiscal year amounts to €9.547 billion, a 12% increase compared to 2024, the year in which the accounts were extended. According to Cadena SER, the text responds to the government agreement between the PP and Vox and incorporates the principle of "national priority" that the far-right party demands.
The president of the Aragonese government, Jorge Azcón, described it as "expansive" and aimed at addressing real problems "as quickly as we can." The vice president and representative of Vox, Alejandro Nolasco, defended the principle of national priority as a measure of "social justice and common sense."
They decisively establish the principle of national priority that Vox considers essential.
Among the fiscal measures are a 99% reduction in inheritance tax, a 0.25 point reduction in income tax, and deductions for childbirth, including those aimed at large families. Azcón considers these reductions to be "historic."
The Minister of Finance, Roberto Bermúdez de Castro, did not specify how much revenue the community will lose with these measures. He did detail the areas where spending is increasing: education, healthcare, social services, and housing.
