Ferrer&Ojeda has announced the change in its executive leadership. Albert Ferrer will assume the role of CEO after a succession process planned for years.
The insurance brokerage Ferrer&Ojeda will have a new CEO starting January 1, 2027. According to segurosnews.com, Albert Ferrer, 43, will replace Lluis Ferrer in this position, who will become the chairman of the company.
The change is the result of a succession process planned for years and developed gradually. The company aims to maintain the continuity of its project and its independence, in a group that boasts five generations of history.
The process has received support from the Board of Directors and Management, as well as an agreement between the third and fourth generations. The company describes it as follows:
“the commitment and generosity between the third and fourth generations and the support of the Board of Directors and Management of the company, always prioritising the interests of the company, its people, and future.”
Albert Ferrer has over ten years of management experience within the group and the insurance sector. His professional career spans more than twenty years, initially in strategic consulting and later as an executive in a multinational company.
In his statement, Albert Ferrer says:
“I take on this responsibility with great enthusiasm and, above all, with deep respect for all that previous generations have built.”
Lluis Ferrer will remain linked to the strategy and development of the group as chairman, bringing his experience and knowledge of the sector. Regarding the transition, he states:
“This transition is the result of many years of work, of the agreement reinforced in our Partners' Protocol as a multi-family business and strategic plan.”
