The same report indicates that 23% of Spanish companies have at least one subscription to artificial intelligence services, with an average expenditure of 78.21 euros. Adoption varies significantly by sector: it reaches 32% in professional and digital services, compared to 9% in investment and institutional structures.

In terms of liquidity, Spanish companies have an average of 9.6 days of cash autonomy, and 30% have reserves to operate for at least one month. On the other hand, 19.7% engage in international transactions, with operations spanning 91 countries.

The data comes from the Qonto platform, which compiles it from aggregated and anonymised transactions of its business clients in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The tool is updated on the 7th of each month.

"It is about providing real-time data that allows for the validation of intuitions and hypotheses," stated Alexandre Prot, co-founder and CEO of Qonto.

According to Qonto, there are over 30 million SMEs in the European Union, representing 99% of the business fabric and accounting for two-thirds of the region's employment. The company notes that it has over 750,000 SMEs among its clients.
