A small business can automate its mailings and campaigns from €13.12 per month with an annual plan from GetResponse. The price mainly depends on the size of the contact list.

According to ecosistemastartup.com, marketing automation allows a small business to perform tasks such as sending emails, publishing ads, or responding to website visitors without manual intervention. The GetResponse platform offers its Starter plan from €16 per month with a monthly subscription and €13.12 per month with an annual subscription, for a list of 1,000 contacts.

With 5,000 contacts, the price rises to €48 per month on a monthly basis and €39.36 per month on an annual basis. The annual subscription applies an 18% discount, and prices do not include VAT.

The platform has three fixed-price plans: Starter, Marketer, and Creator, as well as a custom plan. Marketer is the most requested and is aimed at those who sell online. Creator includes webinars and a course creator.

The actual cost depends on the number of contacts, not on the features. As these platforms charge based on the list, the final annual fee is determined by the size of the database throughout the year. The savings from the annual plan offset if the list grows. If the small business is still testing whether the channel works, the monthly plan costs more per month but allows cancellation without penalty.

The context helps to size the opportunity. According to the INE, in 2025, 99% of Spanish companies used the Internet and 84.4% had a website. The CNMC estimates online sales for the first quarter of 2026 at €29.643 billion, a 15.1% increase from a year earlier.

However, the 2025 SME Digitalization Report from ONTSI indicates that only 5.6% of SMEs with 10 or more employees achieve very high levels of digitalization. Additionally, nearly 80% do not provide training in digital skills to their staff. According to PayPal, SMEs represent 99.8% of Spanish companies and generate 72% of private employment.
