The Tax Agency collected €5.365 billion in Castilla y León between January and September, a 12.3% increase compared to the same period last year. Income tax is the fastest-growing tax.

According to La Razón, with data from the Tax Agency up to September, the collection of Treasury in Castilla y León reaches €5.365 billion in the first nine months of the year. This is a 12.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025, when €4.776.3 billion was collected, meaning €590 million more.

The income tax is the fastest-growing tax, with €3.010 billion and an increase of 18.4%. The corporate tax collects €673.6 million, a 14.4% increase.

The VAT, the consumption tax, generates €1.583.5 billion, with a growth of 1.9%. The drop in collection in Valladolid, which decreased by 20% to €463.7 million, hampers the community's results in this tax.

The non-resident income tax rises by 25.5%, reaching €22.7 million. Chapter III, which includes fees, surcharges, and late payment interest, totals €32.4 million, a 3.7% increase. The special taxes remain in the negative, with €4.5 million less, due to government bonuses on energy costs and fuels, although they improve from the €19.9 million loss of the previous year. Revenue from foreign trade drops by 7%, down to €29.6 million.

By province, all grow in double digits except for Valladolid, which advances by 1.8% to €1.744.78 billion. León leads the growth, with €748.38 million and an increase of 23.5%, followed by Palencia, with 20%, and Zamora, with 18.6%.

In income tax, Soria tops the increase with €117 million and a rise of 26%, followed by Burgos, with €477.2 million and 23%. In Valladolid, the province with the largest volume, income tax rises by 15.2% to €1.067.4 million.

In corporate tax, Soria stands out with €26 million and an increase of 32.9%, and Salamanca, with €97.8 million and 24.6%. Segovia barely rises by 1.8%, to €53.9 million.
