The accumulated sales of the Dia Group until September reached €5.662.9 million, a 7.8% increase compared to the same period in 2025, according to elEconomista based on the communication the company sent to the CNMV. The growth is mainly supported by Spain.
In the Spanish market, the subsidiary increased its revenue in the first three quarters by 11.5%, reaching €4.562 million. The company attributes this progress to the increase in its customer base and the opening of stores.
In the third quarter alone, gross sales under the brand in Spain amounted to €1.608.3 million, with a comparable growth of 8.3%. According to the company, this increase comes entirely from volume, driven by the acquisition of new customers. Club Dia members grew by 9% year-on-year, and sales of fresh products and private label items rose by 12% and 15%, respectively.
The network of proximity stores totals 2.432 establishments, 74 more than at the end of 2025. So far this year, 85 stores have opened and 11 have closed, bringing the company closer to its goal of 100 net openings in 2026. Dia estimates that summer openings have contributed an additional three percentage points of growth in Spain.
According to Nielsen IQ data cited by the company, Dia grew in the third quarter at a rate more than double the market average. As a result, it gained 30 basis points of market share and consolidated its position as the fourth national operator. The digital channel recorded a 24% year-on-year increase in sales.
In Argentina, gross sales in the third quarter were €378.4 million, a 12.2% increase year-on-year, boosted by the exchange rate. So far this year, they have accumulated €1.100.9 million. Consumption continues to stabilize, with a 2.5% decline in volume during the quarter. The company closed five unprofitable stores during the period.
The CEO of Grupo Dia, Martín Tolcachir, assessed the results:

Regarding Spain, Tolcachir noted that the company continues to “gain customers and market share” and is growing “at a rate that doubles that of the sector”.
