Orange Spain closed the first nine months of the year with €5.673 billion in revenue, a 2% increase. This figure comes in its first consolidated report following the acquisition of 50% of MasOrange.

Orange Spain increased its revenue by 2%, reaching €5.673 billion between January and September, according to El Español based on the results presented by its parent company in France, Orange, this Tuesday.

These are the first consolidated results for the company from Orange France since the acquisition of the remaining 50% of MasOrange was completed in June, previously held by funds KKR, Cinven and Providence.

By business lines, revenue from home and business services amounted to €4.171 billion, a 1.7% decrease compared to the first nine months of 2024. Wholesale revenue from network rentals reached €491 million, a 9.5% increase, and equipment sales (mobiles, laptops, and other devices) totalled €995 million, with an increase of 18.8%.

In the third quarter, total revenue reached €1.910 billion, a 3.5% increase compared to a year earlier. During the same period, the company added 7,000 fibre optic lines, 12,000 mobile lines (excluding M2M), and 169,000 new services.

In total, Orange Spain has over 33 million lines, of which 26 million correspond to the mobile business, with more than 22 million postpaid customers, and about 7.2 million are fixed broadband accesses. The convergent ARPO, which measures average revenue per customer, rose to €53.1 in the third quarter.

The company highlights the growth of its B2B business in the first nine months, as stated in its announcement:

increasing its revenue across all customer segments, from freelancers and small businesses to SMEs, large companies, and public administrations

Among the contracts mentioned by the company are the strategic infrastructures of the ports of Barcelona and Valencia and the airports of Madrid, Barcelona, and Palma de Mallorca. It also mentions its Digital Twin platform for the City Council of Madrid, as part of its solutions for smart urban environments.

In terms of coverage, Orange has extended its 5G network to 235 new sites in 182 municipalities, some with just over 50 inhabitants. In this regard, the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function has proposed Orange Spain as the main awardee of the first call for aid from the project “#5G Very Rural Networks”, with a provisional amount of €12.2 million, nearly 70% of the aid, to deploy 82 sites in isolated areas.

Finally, the company is making progress on the anticipated synergies, with over €430 million in projected savings expected by 2026, and reaffirms its EBITDAaL targets for the year as a whole.
