The Alicante-based tech company Orizon has presented its growth plan up to 2030 at a meeting in Tabarca, focusing on software optimisation for large companies and administrations, with an eye on Portugal and Italy.
The tech company Orizon, based in Alicante, has gathered executives, investors, and experts on the island of Tabarca to detail its growth strategy until 2030. The meeting, held under the name “The Island of Performance”, served to present a roadmap based on software optimisation, international expansion, and strengthening alliances, according to zonamovilidad.es.
Orizon's plan relies on the sale of licenses for its platform, which is already used by virtually all Spanish banks, insurance companies, large multinationals from various sectors, and businesses in Portugal, Italy, and Norway, among other markets.
The company has explained that its proposal has evolved from resolving specific technical incidents to offering measurable results for the business. Its model allows management committees to monitor cost metrics, operational risk, and available capacity both in data processing centres and in cloud platforms.
Orizon's CEO, Ángel Pineda, has pointed out that software efficiency is no longer just a concern for systems architects:
“Software efficiency has ceased to be a concern exclusive to systems architects and has become a top management priority, as computational waste directly impacts profit margins and the energy footprint of companies”, he stated during the event.
Pineda also argued that no corporation will be able to sustain digital growth without strict governance of its IT costs. The company claims that its approach allows for measuring the return on technology investments and reducing the risk of outages during peak transactional demand.
In addition to the financial sector, Orizon has accelerated its implementation in energy, telecommunications, large distribution, manufacturing industry, and public administrations. These are areas with complex hybrid digital architectures that require thorough performance management.
In parallel, the company has outlined its internationalisation plan focusing on southern Europe. Portugal and Italy are immediate priorities due to the similarity of their business fabrics and the presence of large corporations that demand solutions to streamline their infrastructures.
