The Euribor marks today, October 23, at 3.267%, with an increase of 0.005 points. The provisional average for October is 3.227%, compared to 2.187% for the same month in 2025.

According to El Periódico, the Euribor today, October 23, 2026, stands at 3.267%, after advancing 0.005 points. It is the index that households with variable mortgages use as a reference to calculate their interest.

The Euribor reflects the interest rate at which major European banks lend money to each other in the interbank market. It is updated every noon and serves as a basis for setting rates on mortgage loans, business credits, and investment products.

The provisional average for October stands at 3.227%, compared to 2.187% recorded in the same month of 2025. The average for 2025 was 2.222%, more than a point below the 3.275% of 2024.

In January 2026, the monthly average was 2.245%. After several moderate increases in February, in March the index changed trend and has continued to rise since then.

For those with variable-rate mortgages, today's figure changes the payment at each review, so the index's evolution in the coming weeks will determine the final cost of the mortgage.
