The quality of life in Spain rises to 101.74 points in 2025, up from 101.43 the previous year. Navarra tops the regional ranking, while Ceuta is at the bottom of the list.
The quality of life in Spain improves slightly, as reported by Antena 3 based on the Multidimensional Quality of Life Indicator published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE). The index increases from 101.43 points in 2024 to 101.74 points in 2025.
The improvement is mainly due to material living conditions, work, health, education, the environment, and the overall life experience. In contrast, work-life balance, leisure time, social relationships, and physical and personal safety have worsened. Respondents particularly value education and health, while leisure time, recreation, and work-life balance are the factors that most reduce their quality of life.
The difference between the highest-rated community and the lowest is 7 points. Navarra leads the ranking with 105.43 points, while the autonomous city of Ceuta is at the bottom with 98.33 points. These figures correspond to 2025, prior to the mass influx of migrants in Ceuta recorded in the summer of 2026.
Following Navarra, the order is La Rioja, Basque Country, Aragon, Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Principality of Asturias, Community of Madrid, Valencian Community, and Extremadura. All exceed the national average. Below that average are Castile and León, Catalonia, Castile-La Mancha, Region of Murcia, Galicia, Andalusia, Canary Islands, and Melilla, before Ceuta.
The greatest advances between 2024 and 2025 are recorded in the Community of Madrid and the Valencian Community.
