Avatel launches the campaign 'Descomplícate' to refresh its brand in Seville, Alicante and Badajoz, while proposing a redundancy plan that will cut 444 of its 1,325 jobs.
Avatel launches the campaign 'Descomplícate', a new philosophy with which it aims to strengthen its identity and value proposition. According to Forbes, the launch coincides with a redundancy plan that the operator has underway.
The company asserts that telecommunications should make people's lives easier, and it aims to differentiate itself with simplicity, clarity, and closeness in customer service. The new identity will arrive from Monday, October 26 in Seville, Alicante, and Badajoz, through a media plan that will transfer it to various advertising spaces and formats.
In the home sector, the brand supports this change with its Conecta tariffs, which include fibre optics, fixed and mobile telephony, and television through the CLICtv platform. Avatel was born in small towns and cities and wants to bring that model of close service to a wider audience.
On the other hand, the company has proposed a redundancy plan that will cut 444 jobs, which is 33.5% of its workforce of 1,325 employees, and will affect almost all areas and departments. This is the third staff adjustment in recent years. The first, announced in May 2024, concluded with the departure of 374 workers following an agreement with union representatives. The second, initiated at the beginning of 2026, affected 290 employees across more than a hundred workplaces.
