Toledo will host the XXXVI Congress of the State Tax Inspectors Association on October 29 and 30, inaugurated by the Minister of Finance on Thursday the 29th.
Toledo will host the XXXVI Congress of the State Tax Inspectors Association on October 29 and 30 at the Palacio de Congresos in the city. According to La Razón (larazon.es), the event is themed "Taxes: Where do our resources go? The value of the public and tax compliance".
As reported by the Association itself, the sessions will address the future of the tax system, citizen trust in institutions, and the role of information in the tax field. They are organized in collaboration with the Institute of Fiscal Studies and include round tables and an interview with representatives from institutions, academia, law, journalism, and civil society.
The Minister of Finance, Arcadi España, will inaugurate the congress on Thursday October 29 at 10:00 am. He will be joined by the president of the Association, Ana de la Herrán Piñar, and the deputy mayor and councillor for Finance and European Funds of the Toledo City Council, Juan José Alcalde Saugar.
Also speaking at the opening of the sessions will be the general director of Taxes of Castilla-La Mancha, Susana Pastor Pons; the special delegate of the AEAT in Castilla-La Mancha, Inmaculada Suárez Abad; the president of Febrafite, María Aparecida Meloni; and the Secretary of State for Finance, Jesús Gascón Catalán.
The closing will take place on Friday October 30 at 1:15 pm, led by Ana de la Herrán and the general director of the Tax Agency, Antonio Ansón Latorre.
