Broker SABSEG has formalised the purchase of the Italian Insurance Solutions, specialised in insurance for real estate and energy efficiency. This is its second operation in Italy.
According to empresaexterior.com, the international insurance and reinsurance broker SABSEG has formalised the acquisition of the Italian insurance brokerage firm Insurance Solutions, based in Milán. The firm specialises in solutions for the real estate and energy efficiency markets.
The operation is SABSEG's second in Italy, following the previous integration of Asigest Broker. Insurance Solutions, founded in 2019, has insured more than 7,000 interventions in the country and has managed over 60 million euros in intermediated premiums, working with construction companies, installers, and property managers.
The president and CEO of SABSEG, Eduardo Dávila, asserts that the Italian market is strategic due to its weight in the European insurance sector. Dávila links the purchase to the company's 2030 strategic plan, in which inorganic growth plays a central role.

For his part, Alessandro Griffith, president of SABSEG Italy, points out that the operation consolidates the group's position in the real estate and energy efficiency segment. Griffith also indicates that the purchase marks the beginning of a process of acquiring strategic companies in Italy.
