The Central Operational Unit is examining an offer for five plots from Acciona in Marbella, priced at up to 4 million euros. The operation is part of the National Court case regarding alleged commissions.

According to El Confidencial Digital, the Central Operational Unit (UCO) is investigating the offer of five plots from Acciona in Marbella that entrepreneur Leire Díez conveyed to businessman Joaquín Parra for a price that could reach 4 million euros. The operation is part of the inquiries by the National Court concerning alleged commissions and rigging linked to individuals associated with the PSOE.

The lands are located in the Cerrado de Elviria urbanisation in Marbella. The initial figure communicated was 4.5 million euros, which was later reduced to four million. The proposal included that Parra would either invest in the land or seek another buyer. Parra testified as a witness in the case and rejected the operation.

The conversations between the two were recorded via WhatsApp. On October 7, 2024, Díez asked Parra if he had reviewed the proposal, after having sent him information about the properties days earlier. Parra replied by phone that he was not interested.

The plots were linked to Acciona Inmobiliaria and Acciona Real Estate. According to the registry information included in the proceedings, the lands were acquired in 2005 and 2015 and were part of the Marbella Elviria project. The plan envisaged a four-star hotel resort with each plot being over 1,000 square meters.

The investigation also examines the relationship between Acciona and Servinabar, a company linked to Antxon Alonso, a partner of Santos Cerdán. Both companies formed a Temporary Union of Companies to compete for public contracts. Investigators are looking into whether the Marbella offer was related to that network of contracts.

The Civil Guard is preparing a specific report on Acciona's role in the operation. Judge Santiago Pedraz will assess the messages and registry documentation, even though the purchase was never finalised.
