The network of chambers of commerce launches Cámaras IA, a project for SMEs to access artificial intelligence. It will start with a pilot test in eleven chambers.

According to La Razón, the Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta has presented the Cámaras IA project, an initiative to facilitate access to artificial intelligence for SMEs. The program will begin with a pilot test involving eleven chambers of commerce and will be coordinated by the Chamber of Spain.

The presentation took place during the General Assembly of Chambers of Commerce, held on Monday in Ceuta under the presidency of José Luis Bonet, president of the Chamber of Spain. The meeting also served to support the city during a particularly difficult time.

Many SMEs lack specialized equipment or sufficient computing capacity to incorporate this technology. To address this, the initiative combines advice from local chambers with a technological infrastructure designed for smaller companies.

The Chamber of Commerce of Ceuta will lead the technological development through its Center for Generative Artificial Intelligence Computing. The participating chambers will identify the needs of each company and assist them in integrating these tools.

The pilot test will include the chambers of Alicante, Barcelona, Ceuta, Gran Canaria, Huelva, Málaga, Murcia, Sevilla, Almería, Tarragona, and Valencia.

Companies will be able to receive specialized advice and advanced computing resources to test artificial intelligence solutions, adapt existing tools, or develop their own applications. Technical support will allow for the evaluation of the usefulness of each application before incorporating it into operations.

The pilot will serve to validate the services and study their extension to the rest of the chamber network. With its results, the chambers will identify the most common needs of SMEs and expand the offering to companies in other territories.

The choice of Ceuta is part of the Chamber of Commerce's strategy for diversification, based on new technologies, the blue economy, and the green economy. Its president, Karim Bulaix, emphasized the need to advance in the transformation of the productive model beyond emergency measures.

During the assembly, José Luis Bonet conveyed the support of the chambers to Ceuta, and the president of the Autonomous City, Juan Vivas, expressed gratitude for that institutional and business backing.
